The primary objective of the Charitable Incorporat8d Organisation (CIO)
is to advance the Sikh religion in al￿nment with the teachings of the Guru
Granth Sahib To athieve this, the Gharity is dedicated to managing and
maintaining the Gurdwara Sahib, facilitati￿ Diwans (congregaticnal
religious gathering8). and organising various rellgious ft2nction8,
particularly Sikh religious festivals.

In accordan￿ wrth our goveming document, the charity continues tc fuffil
its objectN88 by:
Providing a place of worship for the local Sikh community.
- Conducting religious seDiices for the Gongregation, induding bapti8rn8
and funeral rites, in accordance with the t8achings of th8 Guru Granth
Sahib.
Celebrating various Sikh ￿ligIouS fe8tival8 throughout the year.
The trustees have car8fully C￿sIdered the guidance is8ueé by the
Charty Commission on wtAic benefit. as outlined in the Charities Act.
The Gurdwara is open to all. incjuding both Sikhs and non-Sikh8,
promots'ng SPITltual al￿ rnoral advancement based on the teachings of
the Guru Granth Sahib for the benefrt of everyone. Furthermore, tho
Gur{￿ara actively supports human rights for all individuals and is
engaged in Interfarth initiatives and the Loughborough Councll of Farth
group.

are immensely grateful for the unwavering dedication of our volunt88r8

During this reporting year, the Charity has broadened its efforts beyond
its core mission to support souety's most vulnerable indivb#uals. Through
range of communty initiatives and partnèrships wffLh local and national
organisations, we have actively engaged with those in need, all airned at
improvin9 their qualty of life. Our dedicated volunteèrs leverage their
professional skills to FxovKle gutdance and support to those who require it

During the reporting year. the charity provided the Sccuts with a space to
meet weekly and conduct activities at the Comrnunity Centre, as their
regular school building was undergoing renovations.
•ntal Hoafth Initiallvo•
In partner8hip wrth Equalty Action. the charity facilitated a Men's
Wellbeing Café, a mental health program that ran for ten weeks. This
iniliative allowed men Irom Ihe wider ccmmunty to gather weekly, share
Iheir Challenges. engage in activities. and build relationships with others
facing similar situations, all while taking time to relax ar￿ unwind.

The Charity offw8 a free weekly exerci8e clas8 for women who might not
typically atterKI such sessions. Run by a dedicated volunteer, Ihls class Is
Inclusive of all woman. including the elderly. who benefft from Iow4rnpact
exerase tailored to their needs.

Led by 8 volunteer. thls d888 leach88 participants how to read Gurbani
while exploring and understanding the teachings ofthe Sikh Gurus as
presented in the Guru Granth Sahib.
Punjabl Cla•s
A weekly dass, cx)nducted by volunteers, is dedicated to teaching young
children the Punjabi language, enriching their cultural heritage.
Tabla Lo88ons
Recognisirg the Importan￿ of the tabla in Kirtan (the singing of hyrnn6),
a volunteer offers w88kly18ssons to the congregation and anyone
interested in leaming io play this essenlial instrument.

The volunteer Giani (Priest) conducts lessons to teath thildren and
young peopla Kirtan and hannonium, a key musical instrument in
Sikhism, fostenng musical skills aTrJ spiritual growth.
Loggo Youth Group
For the fffth consecLrtive year. the Loughborough Leggo Youth Group has
OP8rated from the Sikh Community Centre. This program provides
structured physical and social aclivrtbes, deliverlng crucial support to
young people, While initially funded by Children in Need and thè local
authority, rt is now fully supported by a local Lwsiness, Midshires
Catering.
Educat• Punjab ProJ•ct
As part of its ongoing global OLrtreach. the Charty is dedicated to the
Educate Punjab Project in India. This initiative aims to provide
educational opportunities to chiklren who cannot afford even basic
schooling In Punjab. Currently, the Charlty 8pon80rs three chlldren,
ensuring that these young indiviéuals from finan¢i8lly constrained families
receive the education they deserve. Through this project, the Charrty
continue8 to make a meaniryful impact on the liv83 of those le88
fortunate.

Facebook page and launching new platfomis, including a dedicated

The Chanty has established a reserves policy that mairrtains a fund of
£50,000 to ensure finanoal stability in the event of voluntary winding up
or dissolution, particularly in reswnse to a dedine in membership and
user engagement. This reserve Is designèd to COV8r lègal costs
associat*J with the winding-up or dissolution process, thereby
safeguarding the Charity's obligations 8nd facilitating an ordedy transition
should such circumstances arise. By mairrtaining this resep4e, the Charity

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515)(b) of the Act.
