The accounts have been prepared to compty with the charitvs constitution and "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended practi applicable to chartties preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reportin8 Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland {FRS 1021" las amended for accounting periods commencin8 from l January 20161 ObiertNes and actlvits The objects of Lrfe Child Foundation UK are to advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from tin to time in particular. but not limited to, the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the workl by the provision of 8rant funding for education. trainin& healthcare projects and all the necessary suppjrt designed to enable individuals to generate sustainable income and be self-sufficient. Achievemerits and krf(Kman In Setting our objectives and plannin8 our activities the Trustees have 8iven careful consideration to the duty in Section 4 of the Charities Att 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit. We have had a small number of volunteers carry out fundraising activities to raise money for the charity. These have included DIY jobs bein8 carried out. craft items being sold and various people doing sponsored walks across the country. The grants that been distributed have had a rnassive impact of the tharities work that we have supported. This has included providin8 free and quality education. free nutritious meals, self sustainability projects. health projects and a foster home. This is the impact each area has. Education: To ensure that all children are educated to a level that allows them to become contributin8 members of the community. Health and Nutrition-. To ensure that all children recetve appropriate nutrition and health care. Social Development.. To facilitate the personal and inter-personal development and physical security of all children allowin8 them to become well-adju5ted family members in the community. And to harness the power of fun, creative and physical activities. creatin8 Opportunities to unify the wider communty. Finandal revlv Sources of fundin During the year, the main Sour of funding were derived from child sponsorship, donation5 and our annual walk for little feet fundraising event. Transactions and financial 5ition The Statement of Financial Activities Shov income fw the year of £35.489, expendtture of £33,331, resulting in a surplus of £2.158 The balance of the accumulated fund stands at £7,888 in total.

I report in respect of my examination of the charit5 financial statements carried out under sertion 145 of the 2011 Att. In carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515}(b) of the 2011 ACL Independerrt examlnerfs statement Your attention is drawn to the fact that the charity has prepared financial statements in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparin8 their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102) in preference to the Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Ststement of Recommended Practice issued on l April 21x15 which 15 referred to in the extsnt re8ulation5 but has now been withdrawn. l understand that this has been done in order for financial statements to provide 3 true and fair view in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practice effective for reportin8 periods be8innin8 on or after l January 2015.
