The trustees present their report and accounts for the period ended 28[th] February 2023
The accounts have been prepared to comply with the charity's constitution and “Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)” (as amended for accounting periods commencing from 1 January 2016)
Objectives and activities
The objects of Life Child Foundation UK are to advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular, but not limited to, the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world by the provision of grant funding for education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
Achievements and performance
In setting our objectives and planning our activities the Trustees have given careful consideration to the duty in Section 4 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit.
We have had a small number of volunteers carry out fundraising activities to raise money for the charity. These have included DIY jobs being carried out, craft items being sold and various people doing sponsored walks across the country.
The grants that been distributed have had a massive impact of the charities work that we have supported. This has included providing free and quality education, free nutritious meals, self sustainability projects, health projects and a foster home. This is the impact each area has;
Education: To ensure that all children are educated to a level that allows them to become contributing members of the community.
Health and Nutrition: To ensure that all children receive appropriate nutrition and health care. Social Development: To facilitate the personal and inter-personal development and
physical security of all children allowing them to become well-adjusted family members in the community. And to harness the power of fun, creative and physical activities, creating opportunities to unify the wider community
Financial review
Sources of funding
During the year, the main sources of funding were derived from child sponsorship, donations and our annual walk for little feet fundraising event.

Transactions and financial position
The Statement of Financial Activities shows income for the year of £19,298, expenditure of £21,924, resulting in a deficit of £2,626 The balance of the accumulated fund stands at £5,730 in total.
Risk management
The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, and are satisfied that that the systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.

Life Child Foundation UK is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) – Foundation registered 19 February 2021
