The<br>donation was an enhanced scholarship<br>package which not only covered the tuition<br>fees for four years but also included<br>transport allowance (paid at the start of<br>each semester), PPE kit and a laptop.|

One of the five<br>women sponsored this year was selected<br>to receive an enhanced scholarship<br>package which was a one-off sponsorship<br>funded by a corporate donor. The<br>enhanced scholarship package covered<br>tuition fees for the duration of the course,<br>transport allowance (paid at the start of<br>each semester), PPE kit and a laptop.<br>- The scholars were selected from<br>numerous applications and granted<br>scholarships to study construction-related<br>courses in The Gambia. The selection<br>process involved the Tabaxh trustees<br>reviewing applications submitted via the<br>Tabaxh website, interviewing shortlisted<br>candidates via video call, and selecting<br>five women to receive the scholarships.<br>- The total number of Tabaxh scholars (new<br>and continuing) is now ten for this tax year.|
