|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or services<br>identified in the accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|- As the first year of Tabaxh operating as a<br>registered charity, this reporting year was<br>spent liaising with the university and<br>colleges in The Gambia that provide<br>construction related courses to understand<br>their admission processes, tuition fees,<br>courses provided, and so on<br>- This year was also spent building the<br>Tabaxh website to enable applicants to<br>apply for the Tabaxh scholarship in the<br>academic year starting in September<br>2022/2023<br>- A treasurers account was created for<br>Tabaxh in February 2022 with an initial<br>amount of £5 transferred into the account<br>by Sainabou Jack (Tabaxh chair) as a<br>donation and to keep the bank account<br>open while fundraising plans were made<br>- Plans were put in place to raise money by<br>Sainabou participating in a 5km park run in<br>the UK in June 2022 (after the end of this<br>reporting period)<br>- As this report has been written in January<br>2023, a total of £2855 was raised after the<br>end of the reporting year to pay the tuition<br>fees for three women in the Gambia who<br>began their studies in September<br>2022/2023. This public benefit will be<br>detailed in the next reporting year’s<br>report/accounts|
