## **TRUSTEES’ REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2024**

## **Objecves and acvies**

The Object of the CIO is the promoon of community parcipaon in health and recreaon in the parcular by the provision of facilies for the playing of football.

##

In shaping our objecves for the year and planning our acvies, the trustees have considered the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. All work and services we carry out are for public benefit and the good of our local community. They are all to meet our aims and objecves.

## **Achievements and performance**

To be completed

## **Financial review**

The unrestricted reserves of the charity at 30 June 2024 amounted to £11,994 of which free reserves (i.e. those not ed up in fixed assets and designated funds) amounted to £3,944.

## **Reserves policy**

use should be maintained at a level equivalent to six month's expenditure. The Trustees consider that reserves at this level will ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able to connue the charity's current acvies while consideraon is given to ways in which addional funds may be raised. This level of reserves has been maintained throughout the year.

## **Risk management**

The trustees have a duty to idenfy and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensure appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and error.

implements strategies to control or minimise these risks. Regular reviews of risks and controls are undertaken.

**Report to the trustees of Hartlepool St Francis Football Club On the**

**accounts for the year ended 30th June 2024**

## **Charity no 1193589**

## **Respecve responsibilies of trustees and examiner**

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparaon of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for the year (under secon 144(2) of the Charies Act 2011(the 2011 Act) and that an independent examinaon is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

- Examine the accounts under secon 145 of the 2011 Act,

- To follow the procedures laid down in the General Direcon given by the Charity Commissions (under secon 145(5){b} of the 20LL Act) and

- To state whether parcular maers have come to my aenon.

## **Basis of Independent examiner's statements**

My examinaon was carried out in accordance with the general Direcons given by the Charity Commission. An examinaon includes a review of the accounng records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideraon of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanaons from the trustees concerning any such maers. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view' and the report is limited to those maers set out in the statement below

## **Independent examiner's statement**

In connecon with my examinaon, no maer has come io my aenon:

(1) Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the

requirements:

- To keep accounng records in accordance with secon 130 of the 2011 Act;

- To prepare accounts which accord with the accounng records and comply with the accounng requirements of the 201L Act have not been me| or

(2) To which, in my opinion, aenon should be drawn in order to enable a proper

understanding of the accounts to be reached
