Section D Achievements and performance In the last twelve months, the charity has provided help and support for over 93 young people and 70 individuals, plus their families, helpers, and supporters. Over 2,200 sessions have been held in the same period, and we are now working with more professional organisations, including the YMCA, to manage their referrals, as well as referrals from several educational specialists. Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year We also hear from extremely distressed parents tales of woe, which has involved changing jobs, moving house and much more to enable them to care for their child who, in most instances, is not attending school in these critical early years. With support, we plan to expand our services to reach more children and families in need. We have organised a sponsored cycle event to help raise funds and awareness of the charity and its work. Many families who were isolated made the effort to attend and support. Meeting other parents was their most significant moment, as they suddenly realised they were not alone. The event was hosted by our Patron, Lady Leicester, and we raised more than £4,400 after all expenses, which is extremely encouraging. We intend to hold a similar event annually where people of any age can join in, and they can raise sponsorship income by walking, running or cycling, thus expanding the catchment. We are grateful for the other forms of support we receive from individuals, organisations and professionals. This has increased considerably in the last year. We are particularly pleased to be working with BBC Children In Need as their emergency referrer for this area. We had aimed to raise £1 Ook this year so we are delighted to have raised in excess of £120k with both an increase in restricted income and unrestricted in the latter half of the year.

The charity has continued to support the therapist who specialises in working with vulnerable families and children with complex issues ranging from mutism to extreme neurodivergent. We have supported the work of the therapist ensuring that over 300 young people have been helped Sin the charity was established. Currently working with 36 young people each week, plus other professional roles, has now been awarded a well earned Fellowship for the pro bono work.
