The Trustees present their report for the year ended 31 December 2021.
The Ansar-ud-deen United Kingdom & Ireland was registered on 17 February 2021.
The Objects of the charity are as follows: To advance the Islamic faith throughout the United Kingdom for the benefit of the public mainly but not exclusively through the holding of prayer meetings, religious education, religious ceremonies and celebrations To provide outreach and pastoral care for the community.
The charity continues to hold its weekly and quarterly prayer meetings. Eid was also celebrated with family and the community. We organised a service celebrating the birth of our prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon on him, to whom the Qur’an was revealed.
The charity supported members and the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. In February 2021, the charity donated £250 to Southwark Food Bank and in July a donation of £1,000 to MAN Uk
