**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY THE ARTS OF MUSIC, POETRY, DRAMA AND DANCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN NORTH EAST ENGLAND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS FOCUSED ON PLAYING INSTRUMENTS, SINGING, SONG-WRITING AND DANCING.

**Activities:** Music Matters North East aims to raise funds and in-kind donations for the promotion of arts, particularly the arts of music, poetry, drama and dance for the public benefit in North East England.  We will do this through the provision of community based interactive workshops in areas where public access to these arts is limited by geography, financial means or other restrictions.
