FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023
The Trustees present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in note 1 to the
financial statements and comply with the CIO'S governing document, the Charities Act 2011 and 'Accounts'ng and
Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in
accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021"
(effective 1 January 20191.
Objectives and activities
The object of the CIO is lo advance such ¢harilable purposes for the public benefit as the ¢h8rity trustees from time
to time in their absolute discretion think fit.
The focus of the organisation is on grant m8king, in particular to other charities. The Charities lo receive grants may
include those supporting the general public, as well as ¢hildren, with a particular interest on causes relating to
education and SLJPPOrting younger people. The organisation may also provide grants to individuals in charitable
need. In future it is possible that that the chairty may carry out its own projects directly.
The Trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the
CIO should undertake.
Achl•v&m•nts and ￿rfOrnianeO
During the year, the CIO has paid out in donations of £65,809 to support the charitable work carried out by Zambia's
Child (formerly called Blessed lo Bless). Zambia's Child's rllission statement is to transform vulnerable communities
in Zambia through quality, Chrisl-cenlred education and community development activities.
Financial review
The CIO has continued activity in the year, with the founder of the charity donating £20,10012022.' £130,000) to the
CIO, on which £5,025 12022.. £32,500) gift aid has been reclaimed. Other donations and interest income of £222
12022.. £71 has also been received. During the year, £65,80912022.' £115,106) has been paid out in donations with
bank charges, admin charges and govemance costs amounting to £6,111 12022.. £3,5601. This results in a deficit in
the year of £46,57312022.' £43,841 1.
Al the balance sheet date, the CIO has carried forward an unrestricted funds deficit of £1,756 12022.. £44,817
surplus). The CIO does not have a formal reserves policy in place and this will be considered by the trustees in due
course.
At the time of approving the financial stalemenls, the trusl&&s have considered the ability of the CIO lo continue as
a going ¢on¢ern. Whilst the CIO has a net deficit of £1,756 at the balance sheet date, the trustees have a
reasonable expectation that the CIO has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the
foreseeable future with the continued support of Ihe founder, Paul Thomas, trustee. The trustees therefore consider
that it is appropriate to prepare the accounts on a going concern basis.

Apart from the first charity trustees, charity truslees shall be appoinled by the founder giving written notice to the
charity trustees. The provisions of this clause 15.1 of the constitution may only be altered by the unanimous
agreement of the members.
The founder may delegate the power to the charity Iruslees, who may exercise thi5 by a resolution passed al a
proptrrly convented meeting of the charity trustees.

As the Trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the financial slalements in accordance with

I report in respect of my examination of the CIO'S financial statements carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Ad.
In carrying out My examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under

Charity information
For All Foundation UK is a Charitable Incorporated Organisalion and ils registered charity number is 1193541.
The principal address of the CIO is 67 Arelhusa House, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, P01 3TQ.
1.1 Accounting convention
The finan¢ial ststements have been prepared in a¢¢ordance with the CIO'S goveming do¢umenl, the
Charities Act 2011, FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and RepLJblic of Ireland"
I FRS 102.1 and the Charities SORP 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended
Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021" (effective 1 January 20191. The CIO is a Public
Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The CIO has taken advantsge of the provisions in the SORP for charities not to prepare a Slalement of Cash
Flows.
The financial slalements have departed from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only lo
the exlenl requirtrd to provide a true and fair view. This dtrpartu￿ has involved following the Statement of
Recommended Practice for Charities applying FRS 102 rather than the version of the Statement of
Recommended Practice which is referred to in the RegLJlations but which has since been withdrawn.
The financial statements are prepared in sterfing, which is the ftJn¢tional curren¢y of the CIO. Monetary
amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under the histori¢al Cost convention. The principal a¢¢ounting
policies adopted are set out below.
1.2 Golng ¢on¢em
At the lime of approving the financial statements, the trustees have considered the ability of the CIO to
continue as a going concern. Whilst the CIO has a nel deficit of £1,756 al the balance sheet date, the trustees
have a reasonable expectation that the CIO has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for
the foreseeable future with the continued support of the founder, Paul Thomas, trustee. The trustees therefore
consider that il is appropriate to prepare the 8c¢ounls on a going concern basis.
1.3 Charitable funds
Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in furtherance of their charitable
objectives.
Restricted funds are SLJbject to specific conditions by donors as to how they may be used. The purposes and
uses of the restricted funds are set out in the notes to the finanaal statements.
Endowment funds are subject to specific conditions by donors that the capital musl be maintained by the CIO.
1.4 In¢ome
Income is recognised when the CIO is legally entitled to it after any performance conditions have been met,
the amounts can be measured reliably, and it is probable that income will be received.
Cash donations are recognised on receipt. Other donations are re¢ognised On￿ the CIO has been notified of
the donation, unless perfomance Conditions require deferral of the amount. In¢ome lax re¢overable in relation
to donations received under Gift Aid or deeds of covenant is recognised at the time of the donation.

1.5 Expenditure
Expenditure is recognised once the￿ is a legal or ¢onstru¢tive obligation to transfer ewnomic benefit to a
third party, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement, and the amount of
the obligation can be measured reliably.
Expenditure is classified by activity. The costs of each activity are made up of the total of direct costs and
shared costs, including support costs involved in undertaking each activity. Direct costs attributable to a single
activity are allocated directly lo that activity. Shared costs which contribute to rnore than one activity and
support costs whi¢h 8re not 811ribulabls lo a single 8¢tivity are apportioned between those a¢livilies on 8 b8S1S
consistent with the use of resoLJrces. Central staff costs are allocated on the basis of time spent, and
depreciation charges are allocated on the portion of the asset's use.
1.6 Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash trquivalenls include ¢8sh in hand, deposits held 81 call with banks, other short-ltrrm liquid
investments with original maturities of Ihreg months or less, and bank overdrafts. Bank overdrafts are shown
within borrowings in CLJrrent liabilities.
1.7 Flnan¢lal Instruments
The CIO has elected to apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Financial Instruments, and Section 12 '0ther
Financial Instruments Issues, of FRS 102 to all of its financial instruments.
Financial instruments are recognised in the CIO'S balance sheet when the CIO becomes party to the
ntraclual provisions of the inslrumenl.
Financial assets and liabilities are offset, with the net amounts presented in the financial statements, when
there is a legally enfOr￿able righl to set off the recognised amounts and there is an intenlion to settle on a net
basis or to realise the asset and se￿e the liability simultaneously.
Baslc flnanclal assets
Basic financial assets, which include debtors and cash and bank balances, are initially measured al
transaction pri￿ including transaction costs and are subsequently carried al amortised cost using the effective
interest method unless the arrangement conslilules a financing Irans8clion, where the transaction is
measured al the present value of the future re¢eipts discounted al a market rale of interest. Finanfyal assets
classified as receivable within one year are not amortised.
Bas1¢ flnan¢lal Ilabllltle$
Basic financial liabilities, including creditors and bank loans are initially recognised at transaction price unless
the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, where the debt instrument is measured at the present
value of the future payments discounted al a market rale of interest. Financial liabilities classified as payable
within one year are not amortised.
Dobl instruments are subsequenuy carried al amortised cost, using Ihg effe¢live interest rale method.
1.8 Foreign ex¢h¥nge
Transactions in currencies other Ihan pounds sterling are recorded at the rates of exchange prevailing al the
dates of the transactions. At each reporting end date, monetary assets and liabilities that are denominated in
foreign currencies are retranslated at the rates prevailing on the reporting end date. Gains and losses arising
on translation in the period are included in the Statement Of Financial Activities.
