REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST MARCH 2024

The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2024. The trustees who served during the year and upto the date of this report are set out on page 1.

Structure, governance and management

Noorani International Welfare Trust is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and it was registered as a charity on 15 February 2021.

The charity was established under a constitution, which established the objects and powers of the charitable company.

The directors, who are the trustees in charity law are responsible for the overall management and control of the company working with other persons on an entirly voluntary basis.

Trustees are appointed in accordance with Noorani International Welfare Trust constitution. Once appo Trustees are given introduction of the charity and information about its objects, Trustees are also given the copy of the consititution and aims and objective, Role description are issued to each trustee and an induction is given setting out the obligations of a trustee. All trustees are issued with copies of the Charity Commission's guidance.

The trustees meet every 3 months.

The trustees actively review the major risk to which the charity is exposed to on a regular basis, in particular those relating to its operations and finances. The system is established to mitigate these.

Objectives and activities for the public benefit

The objects of the CIO, which are for the public benefit and to be carried out in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Gujarat and such other parts of the world as the trustees shall determine are: a) The relie in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the provision of items, equipment, services, support, and advice; b) The advancement of education by providing support and activities which develop an individual’s capabilities, competences, skills and understanding designed to support upskilling, self sufficiency and access to employment; c) The relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good health and wellbeing by providing or ass in the provision of treatment, equipment, facilities, services and health education not normally provided by statutory authorities; d) The provision of activities for recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving conditions of life; e) To advance in life and help people up to the age of 25 years through the provision of support and activities which develop their sk capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individua

Achievement and performance

During the year we supported a number of welfare projects for the local community.

Financial Review

The charity relies on on voluntary income which is £3222 for the period ended 31 March 2024.

Plan for the future

We will continue with our core activities of in accordance with objects of the charity.

Statement of trustee's responsibilities

The trustee are responsible for the preparing the Trustees' Annual Report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom generally Accepted Accounting Standard.

In these financial statements, the trustees are required to:

Select suitable accounting policies and then apply then consistently; Observe the methods and principle in the Charities SORP;

Make judgement and estimates that are reasonable and purdent;

State whether applicable UK Accounting Statndard have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; and

prepare the financial statement on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation.

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and which enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charitable trust and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
