URV promotes equality and diversity by educating the public about Roma culture through arts and heritage. The charity advances human rights, social justice and child protection by providing free, confidential advice and advocacy to Roma families on access to public services including housing, employment education health safeguarding and support to maintain lawful residence in the UK including EUSS

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Which Are For The Public Benefit, Are Specifically Restricted To The Following: A) The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit And In Particular The Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Race By Educating And Raising Awareness Of The Public In The UK About The Roma Community Through The Use Of Arts, Culture And Heritage In Order To Facilitate Good Community Relations And Understanding, Especially Within The Public Sector.b) The Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage From The Roma Community Who Are Resident Or Who Are Intending To Reside In The UK By:(i) Providing Free And Confidential Advice, Assistance, And Representation On Access To Public Services(ii)increasing, Or Co-Ordinating, Opportunities For Members Of The Roma Community To Engage With Service Providers, To Enable Those Providers To Adapt Services To Better Meet The Needs Of That Community(iii)developing Programs In The Fields Of Education, Health, Drug Addiction, Employment, Equal Opportunities, As Well As In All Areas That Contribute To Improving The Living Conditions Of The Roma Communityc) The Advancement Of Education By The Management And Maintenance Of A Heritage Centre And Exhibition Gallery To Promote The Roma Arts, Culture And Heritage.
