1 Save Children of God: Trustees’ Report and Financial Statements 2023

TRUSTEES’ REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 05th FEBRUARY, 2023

The aims and purpose of Save Children of God is to relief poverty through activities and events recommended and approved by the trustees of the charity and has identified and approved the following as our main aims and purpose:

In planning our activities for the year, Save Children of God has considered the Commission guidance on public benefit and in particular the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of eradicating poverty. For wider public benefit purposes, the Charity in the course of the year has actively engaged in community wide activities that are geared towards promoting and empowering people to live a sustainable life. Amongst them are;

Achievements During the year

As part of the charity activities we incorporated since 2022 which is “Operation Feed the Poor”, following the sum of £1,000 received from Anold Clark Automobiles, the sum of £338.31 received from Crowd Funding and the sum of £2,289 donated by the Chair, Board of Trustees, Mr. Chima Okere to ensure that the Charity is involving and doing its proposed duties. The Charity supported the vulnerable people and the disadvantaged people in England including engaging in counselling and advice services which contributed a lot in stopping some legal issues from escalating hence the high cost of litigation were prevented and some crucial matters resolved indoors through the suggestions and good advice system involving Save Children of God.

In the course of our evangelism and reaching out to the community, we realised that a lot of the vulnerable people in the society today especially in England have no money, no Bank accounts because they don’t have the required documents to open accounts. Most of them are not working because they do not have the necessary documents to apply for jobs even the money to enable them process their documents or pay for the services of a solicitor who can assist them to do their papers.

These very people are suffering a lot and for some of them to eat is an issue. Thus, in facilitating a multi – agency approach in addressing issues affecting the vulnerable in the society through developing a joint working approach with other existing bodies, charities and

local support groups, we liaised with Arnold Clark Automobile who supported the Charity to help alleviate the sufferings of the vulnerable people who so much needed our assistance.

Hence, we handed over some money to these disadvantaged people.
