## **Objectives and Aims**
To assist in the treatment and care of Children diagnosed with DIPG ( Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) by funding medical research into the condition and the dissemination of the useful results of that research for the public benefit. To relieve the needs of such children with DIPG ( Diffuse intrinsic Pontine Glioma) and their families by providing them with gift boxes, grants and holidays.
## **Achievement and performance**
The year was a succesful for The Unbeatable Eva Foundation. The public generosity in donations was overwhelming . We were delighted to report that our total reciepts from donations and fundraising events were £61,529, of which £ 8,622 was spent in providing gift boxes, grants, equipment to children with DIPG.
## **Financial review**
The Unbeatable Eva Foundation operates a reserve policy. The Trustees have agreed to the Charity holding a reserve to meet our commitments for our activities for the next three months. This reserve should allow us to meet any unforseen expenses or to continue to operate for a time if were were to experience a a drop in donations.
## **Our Supporters and Volunteers**
We just would not function without all of our supporters and volunteers over the year, we cannot express how grateful we are to you all for your continued support.

**Independent examiners report to the trustees of The Unbeatable Eva Foundation For the Period ended 31st December 2021**
We report on the financial statements of society for the period ended 31st December 2021, which comprise the balance sheet, statement of financial activities, and the related notes.
This report is made solely to the trustees as a body. Our reporting work has been undertaken so that we might state to the trustees those matters we are required to state to them in an independent accountant’s report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity and the trustees as a body, for our work, for this report, or for the opinion we have formed.
## **RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITES OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND THE INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANT**
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts; they consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is our responsibility to examine the accounts under sections 145 of the Charities Act, following the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.
## **BASIS OF THE INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANT’S OPINION**
Our work was conducted in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. Our procedures included a review of the accounts records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration for any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required for an audit, and consequently we do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
## **INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANT’S OPINION**
In our opinion:
(a) The accounts are in agreement with those accounting records kept by the society under section 130 of the Charities Act
(b) Having regard only to, and on the basis of, the information contained in those accounting records, the financial statements have been drawn up in a manner consistent with the accounting requirements of the applicable legislation, and,
(c) The accounts complied with the applicable requirements set out in the Charities Act (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008; other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view, which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
We have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
