Abergavenny in their studies relating to the expressive arts. Summary Introduction: The Foundation did not carry out any activity during this year. Activities The Foundation has funded a theatre production. Achievements and Performance The theatre productions are shared with the wider community, and involve over 60 pupils, who are able to work alongside professional agencies Ifor example sound, light and orchestral. Source of Funds It is the intention of the Trustees to investigate investment mode15 in order to generate income and sustain the Foundation. Alongside this the Trustees will agree an investment policy. Should the Trustees not invest the fund5, the longevity of the Foundation would be at risk. Policies The Foundation has adopted a Grant Making Policy which will be reviewed annually to ensure that it has regard to the Charity Commission Guidance and is fit for purpose within the Foundation's objectives. Structure, Governance and Management Trustees The Foundation shall have a Board of Trustees comprising two ex officio trustees, being the Chair of Governors and the Chair of the Finance and Staffing Committee for the time being of the King Henry Vlll School Abergavenny, and no more than three persons nominated by the Governing Body (who do not have to be Governorsl at a meeting held according to the ordinary prartice of the nominating body. Each nominated appointment shall be for a term of three years, but not commencing on the same date to allow for continuity of experience. New Trustees may be recruited to the Board at any time by the Trustees. In selecting individuals for appointment as Trustees, the Trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the Foundation.
