Summary
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was a particularly difficult time for the charity. All our charity trustees and executive committee members work in the National Health Service and/or other institutions providing healthcare. The pandemic meant it was difficult to carry out any activities within the charity, with our members prioritising their jobs in providing healthcare during the pandemic.

Activities
1) Undergraduate psychiatry curriculum survey
We have created and distributed a survey mapping the undergraduate psychiatry curriculum across medical schools in the United Kingdom. We have received responses from over half of all medical schools so far. We presented our initial findings of this project at the Royal College of Psychiatrists International Congress on 21st June 2022.
2) AUTP virtual placements guide, in collaboration with the World Psychiatric Association
Our team at AUTP are collaborating with more than 50 authors from various countries to develop a guide on delivering virtual undergraduate psychiatric education. Initial work of this guide was presented at The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists congress on 19 May 2022.
3) AUTP Webinar Series: Overcoming Challenges in Medical Education
We are excited to start a series that will look at how we as educators can overcome challenges in medical education. Future sessions will cover how to embed sustainability into psychiatry education, how to engage students online and how simulation can drive learning. Our first session was held on
4) AUTP Annual Conference 2021
We hosted an online conference on 9[th] June 2021 titled “Integrating teaching and assessment of health disparities in medical education”. We had a keynote presentation from Professor Michael Marmot. We facilitated a roundtable focus group, consisting of 23 healthcare leaders to discuss 1) how medical education can be leveraged to reduce health inequalities through the role and practice of doctors and 2) to elucidate how key innovations in medical education are a necessity that can support doctors as ‘change agents.
