The Christmas Float went
ahead as usual in 2024 with
the local Rotary Club being
our partner as in the past.
We were also able to present
Lesley Smith (ex-Curator of
Tutbury Castle) in her roles as
Florence Nightingale and
Peggy Knight at St.
Augustine’s Church with the
help of the Church.
Following our successful
concerts the previous year at
the Church we produced
another St Georges Day
Concert which was well
received.
To celebrate V E Day we
organised a party for 60
Senior Citizens
**Donations**| At Christmas we continue to collect new toys to give to local families who would otherwise be without. These are donated to local Church and Social Services. We did not have a Charity of the Year this year but have made several smaller donations to local charities and people needing assistance in their lives. We also teamed up with Rugeley Community First Responders to install a defibrillator outside the local church.
