The Christmas Float went ahead as usual in
2023 with the local Rotary Club being our
partner as in the past.
We were also able to present Lesley Smith
(Curator of Tutbury Castle) in her roles as
Boudicca and Anne Hathaway at St.
Augustine’s Church with the help of the
Church.
Following our successful concerts the
previous year at the Church we produced a
St Georges Day Concert which was well
received.
The Club have arranged afternoon parties to
raised funds for McMillan Charity and the
Alzheimer’s Society.
**Donations**
At Christmas we continue to collect new toys
to give to local families who would otherwise
be without. These are donated to local
Church and Social Services.
We did not have a Charity of the Year this
year but have made several smaller
donations to local charities and people
needing assistance in their lives.
**Service**
We help out at the Rugeley Community
Gardens producing vegetables to be given to
those in need and also to the Foodbank via
Rugeley in Bloom.
We also join in with other organisations who
