TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL HEALTH OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING ISSUES DETRIMENTAL TO THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING AND BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO PROFESSIONAL SUPPORTERS TRAINED IN MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS, STUDYING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM, BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ALLOW THEM TO UNDERTAKE TRAVEL AND FURTHER STUDY AND RESEARCH IN FURTHERANCE OF THEIR EDUCATION AT THE UNIVERSITY. 3. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AGED 5-17 YEARS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO REGISTERED CHARITIES WHO WILL BE BUILDING SCHOOLS.

**Activities:** R World provides funding to schools, universities and colleges to train teachers in First Aid for Mental Health so that they are qualified to teach students. This will help students and teachers recognize signs of mental illness in their friends and colleagues, offer support or signpost them to other services. R World also aims to fund projects in Malawi.
