(1) the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Summary of the objects of the Basis of Faith (appendix 1) primarily but not exclusively within charity set out in its Ashton-in-Makerfield Wigan and the surrounding neighbourhood; governing document and
- (2) such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the Charity Trustees, further the work of the Church

Hope Church, Ashton-in-Makerfield has been established to replace Hope Church, Ashton which was an excepted charity. However the transfer of Hope Church, Ashton’s assets was not completed before the end of the period to 31 December 2022. Therefore there was nil activity during the year.
