Our regular SurKlay Servi meetings continue every week. with ServIS held on the 2nd 4th SurKJays of each monttL also atterKI BSL-interpreted servFces on the 1 st and 3rd Sundays. In . addrtn to these, we conduct our Bible study sessiorts on the 1 st and 3rd Sundays each month. However, to accommodate more Part[pantS, we have moved our Bible study to the 3rd Thursday evening of each month, utilisirKJ the Zoom platform. '. We we pld to receive a testimony from one of our hearing members who found our meetings to be a great blessing after suddenly diagnosed wrth a lrfe-changing condition. Our cr)Ilatx)ratKn wth our parent church, Rutslip Baptist Church, inues to gTh strorKJer. This year, we organised a BSL taster and awareness session for the church lders. whth was well attended. Participants left with a posrtive experience and a greater understanding of Deaf people Jr unique approach to thurch and Bible study. Ruislip Baptist Church has also encouraged our 1&9ders to actively partiapate in church events,. for instance, one of our leaders, Alison, is now teaching hearing children in SLKKlay school, and a hearing couple from our thdership team are actively attendiro leaders church meetings to represent HarKI in Hand ministry. We are aso n1Th3 to lebrate our 21st aMiver5ary of reaching and serving the Deaf communty on 28th September.
