**during the year**|Here are our highlights for the year 2022/2023
Our Hand in Hand ministry continue to holds its’ fortnight Sunday
meetings and Bible study meetings.. We have now be able to hold
a mixture of face to face Bible study and through Zoom. These
events continue to be a blessing to deaf and hearing people in the
community.
Our trustees continue to hold a regular meeting to oversee the
ongoing of the ministry.
We continue to have a good fellowship and work partnership with
our hearing counterparts in the church. They have been supportive
to us and we are sad to see the minister in charge of the church,
Derek Page, going to leave/retire. We are grateful to Derek as he
specially welcome us to move to Ruislip Baptist church and have
been so supportive and helpful to us.
We continue to provide support to deaf people and hearing in the
community such as advice, prayer, morale support and any
practical support. One example was a member who had mental
nervous breakdown. All the trustees and members offer her the
needed support.
Our women look forward to participate in May 2023 in a women
conference.
Lastly we had a picnic day at Ruislip Lido to round off our activities
for the year.it
We are looking forward to the coming new year that we have
started this month. We look forward to more community outreach
work among deaf and hearing people.
Also we hope our men in the fellowship will participate and enjoy
the forthcoming Deaf Christian Men conference in Nuneaton on
