One online_Focus On…session was held, titled_Behind the Flight Deck Door. The_Focus On…_sessions are aimed to provide awareness and training for the community. They are virtual webinars (Zoom), open to all with an interest and are free to attend.

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	The Society ended the period with a cash balance of £4,731. The Lisbon Seminar made a good profit (mostly due to sponsorship) which will strengthen our finances when the balance arrives in early 2025.
Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held	Para 1.22	No designated reserves are held, but we aim to maintain a balance not below £20k. This is because a typical seminar (our main financial outlay each year) has costs of around £20k. This balance means we could survive a seminar failing completely for some reason. This was not the case at the end of this year, partly because large deposits were paid for the Seminar in Lisbon and we didn’t receive the balancing payment until early 2025.
