**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE GOOD MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING AMONG PEOPLE AGED 16 AND OVER WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE STONEHOUSE AND DEVONPORT AREAS OF PLYMOUTH, AND SUCH OTHER AREAS OF PLYMOUTH AND DEVON AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE, BY THE PROVISION OF A FREE SHORT AND MEDIUM TERM THERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING SERVICE PROVIDED IN COOPERATION WITH NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE GENERAL PRACTICES.
