Down Syndrome and providing
education and training in the specffic
needs and abilities of people with Down
Syndrome for their parentslcarers and
the professionals involved in t1￿1r care,

ment and educakn'on.
The charity's focus this financial period
was activities for its members. These
included monthly meetings for families
and some evonlng meals for
paréntslrarers. The charity agaln hlrèd
out a local soft play centre for its
Mom￿1$ to celebrdte World Down
Syndrome Day and arrnnged a Summor
fun day wlth bouncy castles and
actlvltles. The trusteès undertook
ongoing work with the local Borough to
drive Improvement in services for our
members.
