Provide a wide range of accessible and affordable activities for autistic people and those with related conditions and their families within the local community
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, Which Are To Be Carried Out In The North East Of England, Are:1) To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People Who Are Socially Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of Their Autism And/or Neuro Diversity From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:• Providing A Recreational Facility For Autistic And Neuro Diverse Children And Young People And Their Families/carers Which Creates A Safe, Friendly And Accepting Atmosphere In Which All Participants Can Feel Comfortable, Relaxed And Included; • Providing An Opportunity For Families/carers To Share And Learn New Strategies For Supporting The Needs Of Their Children And To Reduce Feelings Of Social Isolation; • Providing Opportunities For The Neuro Typical Family Members And Friends Of Autistic And Neuro Diverse Children And Young People To Share Experiences With Them And Thereby Promote Inclusion; • Facilitating Access, Through Signposting, To Relevant Information, Advice And Training For Families/carers As Appropriate.2) The Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage.
