**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AMONG GIRLS AND WOMEN AGED 25 YEARS AND UNDER IN CORNWALL, IN PARTICULAR BY: (A) PROVIDING A NETWORK OF TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE ABLE TO OFFER EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS IN DISTRESS, IN THE FORM OF TALKING THERAPY, SUPPORT GROUPS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES, DESIGNED TO PROVIDE INFORMAL EARLY INTERVENTION TO MINIMISE ESCALATION OF MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS; (C) PROVIDING GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ACCESS PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLING, THERAPY AND OTHER FORMS OF SUPPORT TO ASSIST IN RECOVERY AND REHABILITATION AS CONSIDERED NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATE; (B) PROVIDING A SIGNPOSTING SERVICE TO SUPPORT MENTAL HEALTH WELLBEING.

**Activities:** We aim to reduce the rate of suicide in young women in Cornwall aged 18-25, by highlighting the warning signs and with early intervention through our free support groups, building a support network, promoting wellness, and referrals to appropriate therapies/professional services.
