Imran Ismail Mukerdam Yusra Trust holds monthly meetings to discuss projects and running of the charity. Decisions are made with all Trustees being present. Recruiting of Trusteeship is done by looking for individuals with the correct skillset that can aid the aims and objectives of Yusra Trust. Potential Trustees would be checked to see they are not disqualified under the charities act. ## **Objectves & Actvites** Yusra Trust has been collecting donations for food packs for children, widows and needy people working closely with an authorized and well-established charity, Iyilik Koprusu. Yusra Trust Registered Charity: 1193003 **Achievements and performance, including reporting on its public benefit** ## **Kayseri** In 2024 Yusra Trust continued supporting Syrian, Uzbek and Uyghur refugees residing in the Kayseri region of Turkey. A minimum of 25 families, orphans, widows and needy were provided with support monthly. Some recipients are in an educational background, either teaching or studying. This project has been aided by another Turkish charity, Ilyilik Koprusu Yardimlasma ve Dayanisma Dernegi. ## **Aims** (1) To relieve financial hardship among poor people, widows, orphans and other people in need by means of, but not exclusively, making grants or loans for providing or paying for items, equipment, services and facilities, including the provision of food, water and clothing, and livelihood programmes for the benefit of the said persons; (2) To advance education for the benefit of the general public by means of, but not exclusively, the provision or the assistance in the provision of educational activities and facilities, such as schools and training centres for the benefit of said persons; (3) To relieve sickness and to preserve good health among persons in need, by means of, but not exclusively, the provision or assistance in the provision of medical equipment or facilities such as testing and treatment centres and clinics for the benefit of the said persons; (4) To advance the religion of Islam, by means of, but not exclusively, promoting the teachings and tenets of Islam via the assistance in the provision of Islamic education and facilities for worship in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as interpreted by the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah school of thought. As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner's statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: - the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or - the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or - the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
