The trustees have produced a set of club rules to reflect besl practica
within the club ané to ensure the dub is open to all. Day lo éay running of
the club is delegated to seven sub committees. each chaired by a trustee
and covering the fdlowing areas:

to benefit from social inter￿tiOn as well as t￿ physical benefits inherent
wrth playing the sp￿.
The five teams o)mprise of Saturday"competitive" sides,

which are run by qualified and certified Coaches. During the winler

Seaton Bum Cc's junior section indkjdes fwe agè groups covering
children from ages of 4-16. Y￿￿nger age groups follow the ECB'S Al
Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket prcYJrammes which arè desNJned to
instil a bve of cricket and based around fun. Our Under 11, Under 13 aTrJ
nder 15 age groups conb.nue to d￿eloP uiekeling skills in a fully
inclusive setb'ng under the contrd of our Level 2 ECB quaIrf￿d coaches
and other qualified coaches. Thè club 81so has several 16-17 year olds
who participates in the open age sides at 8enior ￿ve1.
All of our coaches are DBS checked and sessions are run to
recommendèd playèrleoach ratios under the supervision of our Club
Safeguarding Officer.
Off the fiekd we erKourage past players and mernbers ofthe local
community to stay involved with thè dub. In recent years we havè
installed a bar and S￿la1 area wthin the dubhouse and rnade
improvèmènts to thè sèatsng 8rnas around thè grouThl for spèctators.
All ol our 8ctnirts.ès are assessèd and eonsKleréd by the tnJslÉes to
ensure that they are of benefit to the public in line wrth the guidance
rovk1ed b the Chari
Commission.

The dub is run by volunteers. In additIc￿ to the trustees, there are
approxirnately 20 volunteers who assist with different aspects of Ihtr dub.
These indude contributs'ons made towards pitch preparation, junior
coaching and sijpery1si￿. fund raising events. ground and equipment
maintenance and membership administration. The trustees would like to
recognise Ihese conlribulions and record their thanks.

during tho y8ar
The club fielded teams In four leagues Induding two Saturday teams, one
Sunday and (x)é Mid-wèèk sidè.
Our first Xl again maintained their F()Sftion irb Division Two of the NTCL
despite the restn'ctions of a relatively small ￿aYIng squad. This benefits
other members ol thè club with several younger rrembers gaining
expèriènce of playing at a higher level. Our 2r￿ Xl h8é a comfortablè
season in Division six narrowly missing out on pfomotion. Several junKtrr
members partKipated regularty in the 2" Xl others playing on a S&ss
frequent basis. This was in line with our intention to provide opportunity
for Y￿nger membets lo wogress wlhin the club.
This was also apparenl in our Midweek and Sunday sides whth regularly
consisted of a majority of under 18s akjngside experienced
cricketers to aid their development.
The dub again ran the ECB'S Al Stars Programme for 5-8 year olds
41 parbup8nts thts ye8r_ We also ran the ECB'S Dynams programm8 for
&11 year olds with 17 partiupants. Progression from Stars to
Dynamos from previous parts'apants was evident along wrth movement of
Dynamos particApants from 2022 into our Under 11 and 13 squads.
Our undef 11$. 13$ and 15$ ¢onb"nue lo progrÈss and develop their sknlls
in hard b311 uicket with indoor training continuing through the winter
months in preparation the season ahead.
The dub's membership continues to grchv with 175 a550fAaled member5.
Th8 dub continu8 lo on improving facilities m8mbèrs vthich this
season has included purchasing of new seating for intemal areas and a
new wcket cutter.
