Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(a) The Provision Of Housing Accommodation For Persons In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress Who Have Resided In The Area Of Benefit, Being The Former West Riding Of The County Of York As IT Existed On 31 March 1974, For Not Less Than Five Years Immediately Preceding The Time Of Approval For The Accommodation Or Who Have Previously Lived In The Area For A Period Of Five Continuous Years And Wish To Return To Live Permanently In The Area Of Benefit; And(b) Such Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Residents As The Trustee Decides.the Land At Harrogate, In The County Of North Yorkshire, Containing 2023 Square Metres Or Thereabouts Having A Frontage On Knaresborough Road Of 48.77 Metres, With The Buildings Thereon Known As Applegarth Homes ("The Property") Must Be Retained By The Trustee For Use For The Objects Of The Charity.
