For the purposes of this Trust Deed \u2018brass\u2019 shall be defined as including all standard instruments  (including percussion) that are played in British standard brass bands.(2) To support young people in South Wiltshire to attain high musical standards in brass instrument playing and performance, including by assisting with music examination preparation and conduct.(3) To help young people to become independent in their playing, through assisting with the purchase of personal brass instruments. This is aimed at young people who are involved in learning brass instruments and playing them in brass bands, with those actively playing in brass bands being the priority.
