**Objects:** 1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF ANIMAL WELFARE THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF HUMANE METHODS OF MANAGING POPULATIONS OF COMPANION ANIMALS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY DOGS AND CATS, TO THE PUBLIC AND THOSE WITH RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTROL OF THESE POPULATIONS, TO PREVENT CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE MANAGEMENT OF COMPANION ANIMAL POPULATIONS BY PROVIDING RESEARCH, INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE.

**Activities:** ICAM activities are guided by our strategic objectives and may include: Production of guidance and tools; Workshops, webinars and regional/international scientific meetings; Collection, review and dissemination of tools and data; Assistance in applying ICAM recommendations in the field; and communicating ICAM mission, goals and approach to humane dog and cat population management.
