In May 2023 the chlldren and staff ¢•lebra*d the Klng's Coronatlon makln9 cmwns and en}oying an afternoon tea tD celebrat• thls S￿¢181 •v8nt. Brlght Sparks Nursery organlsed our annual Booster Cushlon Theatre Company show. "Old Macdonald" Chlldren and thelr parents enjoyed the pop-up theatre experitince. As a Celèbrntion for our school 1oav•rs. organised a dlsco and a vlslt from Klmmy Zoo. Tho chlldren énjoyed th• opportunlty to handle and learn about th• small animals and insects. In July 2023 for tho flrnt Ilm• slnce Covld * organised a summer lalralongside Sl Peieffs Chur¢h. Families of the nurnery help•d by donaiing items and theirtime to run stalls. This a great success, and 411 money helped t0￿rdS nurnèry funds. In Octobor 2023 Brigm Sparks Nurn•ry 5olned In a communrty dance evenl organlsed bylhe local Asda Communlty Champion to $upport breast can¢er harlty, Breast cancer and coppaf•o1 as part as th•lr Tlckled Plnk Gafflpalgn. Chlldren and staff danced to the ma¢arena alongside oth¢r local communlty groups. Thls vldeo shown Inthe local Asda store. Brfaht Sparf(s nursery always supports Chlldren In need. In November 2023, the chlldren and slaff dressed up In 'onylhlng Pud$ey'. Tho Asda ¢omrnunlty ¢hamplon klndly vlslted us wlth Pudsey ￿ar, and we danced w5th Pudsèyl In D¢cemb¢r2023 we had a vlsltlrom Emlty, the vlur of St Peler's. She organlsed a pop up natfvlty. The chlldr¢n got to take part In dresslng up and actlno Ihe story out. The nursery Yfds reprnsented at the church Chrfstmas falr and the games or9anlsed rnlsed funds for Ihe nursery.

TO THE TRUSTEES OF BRIGHT SPARKS NURSERY (ST. PETER’S CHURCH, IPSWICH)

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Bright Sparks Nursery (St. Peter’s Church Ipswich) (the Charity) for the period 26 April 2023 to 4 April 2024.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the trustees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner’s statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

• i. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or

• ii. the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
