## **Trustees Annual Report and Accounts 1 September 2022 - 31 August 2023**

Objectives: To raise funds for the benefit of children and staff of Ashperton Primary Academy Trustees: Serena Thirlwell, Louise Lawrence, Kate West, Helen Powers, Elizabeth Lewis, Alison Hotchen 

The current committee are standing down at the end of the school year, with a new committee taking over from September. 

For the first time we held a Fireworks night, and this was extremely successful and well attended.  Fireworks were purchased from a ParentKind supplier and three dads set them off. Food, drinks and light toys were sold.  The event raised £1800. 

A parents night out was organised in Ledbury which raised just under £100. 

The Christmas Fair was back after three years and was a huge success raising £2,500.  We also had donations from two local businesses - a Christmas Tree farm (a percentage of sales) and Rosie Glow Beauty. 

We held a school disco, and the DJ was free (as there was a problem at the last disco), so this was another great fundraiser, raising just over £500. 

For Easter an Egg Hunt in school was organised which was a lovely event and all of the children thoroughly enjoyed it (despite the rain!). 

A Quiz Night was held in Spring Term, this was well supported and raised just over £700. 

The Summer Fair raised £2,600.  The Lottery generated £725 and non-uniform sales generated £45. 

The total amount raised this year was £9752 which we are extremely proud of.
