## **Trustees Annual Report and Accounts 1 September 2021 - 31 August 2022** 

Charity Name: Friends of Ashperton Primary Academy Charity No.: 1192837 Registered Address: Ashperton Primary School, Ashperton, HR82SE Objectives: To raise funds for the benefit of children and staff of Ashperton Primary Academy Trustees: Serena Thirlwell, Louise Lawrence, Helen Powers, Elizabeth Lewis, Alison Hotchen 

Previous trustees stepped down at the AGM in November 2021 and a new committee was elected. 

As there was still quite a bit of Covid around, it was decided a Christmas Fair wouldn’t take place.  Christmas raffle tickets were sold online and raised £414. 

For Easter an Egg Hunt in school was organised which was a lovely event and all of the children thoroughly enjoyed. 

A Quiz Night was held at the beginning of Spring Term, this was well supported and made a record amount of money: £897. 

For the Jubilee ice lollies plus strawberries and cream were sold at the school event and raised £140. 

The Summer Fair raised £3,860.  The Year 6 enterprise groups raised money at this event plus at the Mathila performances and they raised a fantastic amount of £465. 

An end-of-term disco was held for the children as a thank you and it was a great success. 

The Lottery generated £700. 

The total amount raised this year was £6,180 which we are extremely proud of.
