The trading throughout the financial year was not exceptional. In fact the general public still
seem not to want to go out following the Covid situation. This has limited our fundraising
both at street and field events.
The Indoor evenls. In the trustees, opinion were even worse with the public not vrflshlng to
spend money to attend events, possibly due to the risa in the ￿st of living and using the
aft8r effects of the COVKI siiuation being used as an not having to spend the ticket
price for a quiz ts Fnstsnce.
Furthermor8 thère seems lo be ever more appeals on television for monthly
donations for a myriad of natsonal charities. It is also very easy now for paople to set up
°Fund Me. accounts on social media. This has Ihe effed of lakn'ng money out of the fijnds
available for people to give whith. in tum. affects us.
