ABDUL MAGEED EDUCATIONAL TRUST TRUSTEES REPORT FOR THE YEAR APRIL 2020/MARCH2021
The year was particularly quiet for the Trust due to Covid 19 spread and lock down procedures. We could not deliver our regular services to our beneficiaries complying with the law and abiding to social distancing rules.
We focused in submitting grant application forms for delivery in the year 2021/2022.
We applied to Comic Relief for capacity building project and were awarded £500 which we allocated to the production of our Safeguarding policy dated 30 June 2021 written by PWW Solicitors.
We also applied to Comic Relief and National Lottery Community Fund for the Let Us Talk About Domestic Violence Project. We were awarded £4000 from Comic Relief and £16090 from National lottery Community Fund.
We also Collaborated with Naglaa’s World Limited in the delivery of Wisdom in Naglaa’s World workshops on Health and wellbeing sponsored by Westminster Adult Education Service and succeeded in recruiting 102 participants to the course which ran between January to April 2021 on zoom.
