## Trustee Report 2024 

We had 21 children on the register at the beginning of the academic year September 2023. With 29 children on the register in July 2024 at the end of the academic year. 

We had 1 E.A.L children on the register. (English as an additional language) and 1 child waiting on the SEN register (Special Educational Needs). 

We had a total of 10 permanent members of staff.  We have 1 regular volunteer, and as our regular cover staff lady is on long term sick we have gained a new lady for cover staff. 

At preschool we have celebrated lots of festivals and events during the school year, including autumnal activates and autumn walks in our local Park. We invited parents, carers and extended family in for National Picnic day and we all had a picnic together. 

We celebrated the Duke of Westminster’s Wedding at our local Cathedral ( Chester Cathedral) and enjoyed tennis activities for Wimbledon, all of these things incorporate our British values, we also celebrated Chinese New Year and Diwali to incorporate other cultures and beliefs. 

We also covered lots of different weeks and days in preschool, including National day of Dance, Science week and Recycling week. 

We had visits into Preschool from Bookstart and our Local PCSO . 

We had a trip to our local indoor soft play Centre with our children, parents and staff, a great day was had by all. 

We enjoyed our yearly Christmas sing a long in church as well as our annual Easter Bonnet parade. 

And this year we also had a Breakfast with Santa event. 

We have continued with our intergenerational visits, and joined the local church knitting group, on numerous occasions, even helping them to put knitted decorations on the church Christmas tree. 

Vicky our manager and Alan a member of staff at Preschool got married in the Summer and we would like to congratulate them on there marriage.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trusy,) for the year ended
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's. accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
unaer section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

basis of report
Independent trhe charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified to
examiner's statement undertake the examination by being a qualified member of [insert name of

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ") which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records- or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination:

with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
