Trustee Report July 2022
We had 19 children on the register at the beginning of the academic year September 2021. With 23 children on the register in July 2022 at the end of the academic year.
We had 5 E.A..L children on the register {English as an additional language}.
We had a total of 10 permanent members of staff with Anneka Black leaving us the end of September, and her being replaced by Lauren Humphries in May 2022, we have 1 cover staff and 1 volunteer.
We had a teenager attend our setting for work experience in July 2022 from Oaklands Special School in Winsford.
At Preschool we have celebrated lots of festivals and events during the year, including Harvest, where we collected items for the local foodbank, Remembrance day we did lots of poppy activities , we had a picnic for the queens jubilee, all of these things incorporate our British values, we also celebrated Eid and Diwali to incorporate others beliefs and cultures.
We also covered lots of different weeks in preschool, including recycling week, science week, space week and Mental Health awareness week.
This year we were able to invite parents back into the setting for our annual Christmas sing a long which was lovely.
We also had our first sponsored event in preschool, where the children participated in our sponsored wheels, riding, bikes, scooters and cars around the playground.
We were also able to restart our intergenerational visits at the local church café due to our local care home closing down.
