Para 1.17 | (A) The preservation and protection of health and the relief of poverty or need for the beneft of single parents whose relationships have broken down and their children, by: (i) providing assistance through conciliation for such single parents and providing advice and help in the settlement of diferences or potential diferences over associated matters such as custody and access to children and fnancial matters. (ii) providing or assisting in the provision of information, advice, practical, emotional and professional support and counselling; and (iii) through the provision of free legal advice and assistance to single parents who, through the lack of fnancial means, would be unable to obtain such advice and services. (B) To advance the education of single parents in various subjects, developing the capacity and skills of single parents in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to and to participate more fully in society. |

We get funding to help our members with food and gas and electric. Cash never goes to the members we do a food shop or top up their smart meters. We have a charity shop in Barnsley where people can come and see us, talk to us and buy or be given clothingitems. |

Para 1.20 | Our main achievements in this fnancial period is having hubs all over the UK distributing surplus food via volunteers to the most vulnerable single parent families who have struggled to have food on their tables. This has made a massive diference to help families out of poverty. We also were granted funding to provide a care hamper of a week’s shopping and essentials to families and also top up prepayment meters for single parent families who could not aford to top up. |
