**Objects:** TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN CUMBRIA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN SNOWSPORTS AND PROVIDING SUPPORT TO ENCOURAGE WIDER PARTICIPATION IN SNOWSPORTS, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF AN ARTIFICIAL SKI SLOPE, FACILITIES, VOLUNTARY SUPPORT, EQUIPMENT AND ACCESS TO INSTRUCTION AND COACHING; AND(B) THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL AND / OR OTHER ASSISTANCE, AT THE DISCRETION OF TRUSTEES, TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS TO COVER COSTS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE PRECLUDE THE PUBLIC’S PARTICIPATION IN SNOWSPORTS.

**Activities:** We are a purely voluntary organisation. The people who greet you in the lodge and take your money and set up the equipment for you are all members who have volunteered, as are the ground staff, club officers and our highly-trained team of instructors.
