|||||Our first year of activities were greatly affected by the restrictions

imposed
by the Covid 19epidemic.
Prior to our Registration,|| |||||our annual
festival was to be held in May of2020 but was cancelled.|| |||||Thanks to the strenuous
efforts ofthe organisers
an 'on-line'
festival was|| |||||put together and drew audiences
from around
Britain, and, much further|| |||||afield such as the United States and Australia.|| |||||During our first actual year of being a charity, the Covid outbreak
resulted|| |||||in both our planned
Folk Day to be held
in February
2021 and our 4-day|| |||||festival to be held
in May of2021 being cancelled.|| |Summary ofthe main|||||| |activities undertaken||for|the|Building on the experience gained from the Zoom and Web based festival|| |public benefit in relation|||to|of2020 both events ran 'on-line'.
We were greatly supported
by local,|| |these objects (include within
this section the statutory||||national
and international
artists who perfarmed
either for free or on a
share ofreceipts after costs basis. We felt itwas vitally important
to|| |declaration|that trustees||have|support artists at this time as many did not receive support from|| |had regard|to the guidance|||government
schemes as they were classified as self-employed,|| |issued by the Charity|||||| |Commission|on public|||Our May on-line festival was a collaboration
with Chippenham
Folk|| |benefit)||||Festival.
They normally
run their live festival aver the same weekend|as| |||||ourselves
and both organising
groups were able to see great benefits|in| |||||producing
a mix ofshared content and separate 'streams'
representing|| |||||the focus and atmosphere
afthe different festivals.
Again, a huge|| |||||amount ofwork and expertise was put into the organisation
and running|| |||||ofthe festival, and

physical and mental wellbeing
of our community,
we have overcome the
obstacles posed by it and our aims and delivered
the aims set out in our
constitution.

Folk Arts. We have also been| ||||able to create events that provided
artists with much needed

with artists to support them during
