Activities
The provision of 'Active Social Meetings' at a number of local venues at least once per month at each venue. We facilitate the use of Community Halls and similar places for socially isolated residents to meet and share interests and hobbies, or just chat. The intention is to encourage the development or expansion of personal support networks in the very rural area of the West of Radnor.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Working To Prevent Men And Women, (particularly From The West Of Radnorshire Area) From Becoming Socially Disadvantaged; Relieving The Needs Of Those Men And Women) Who Are Socially Disadvantaged And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society Through The Provision Of Facilities In Which They Can Meet To Socially Support Each Other In A Safe Environment And Undertake Creative, Physical Or Recreational Activities, Learn Or Pass On Skills And Knowledge.to Cooperate With Other Similar Organisations In The Furtherance Of These Objectsfor The Purpose Of This Clause 'socially Disadvantaged' Means Being Excluded From Society Or Parts Of Society As A Result Of One Or More Of Of The Following Factors: Age (youth Or Old Age), Physical Or Mental Disability, Employment Status, Lack Of Financial Resources, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Religious Belief.
