TRUSTEE’S REPORT 2024 FOR OPEN DOOR CHURCH
2024 was a year of challenge for the Open Door Church. Despite amazing support from its partner members, the Church is not in a position to appoint paid leadership to provide guidance and direction. A grant request to the EMBA was not approved. As a consequence, the Church refocused its lay leadership team, adding additional members to support the 3 Trustees.
Numbers in attendance remained steady between 25 and 30. The church organised several successful invitational events during the year, culminating with a Carols at Costa event in December 2024. The church continued to support the work of its sister Charity, the Open Door Trust, by providing a venue for its activities.
