## **Trustees Report of the Lyncombe Lodge RDA group from the meeting in Churchill on Monday 8[th] September 2025**
Present were Stella Dales, Jane Tomlinson, Jane Gunn, Kate Elgood and Heather Fuller
Apologies were received from Venetia Kenney-Herbert
A letter of resignation had been received from Colette Davidson and this was accepted
The minutes of the meeting held on 5[th] September 2024 were read and agreed. There were no matters arising.
Prior to the meeting the Trustees had discussed inviting Melanie Healey to become a Trustee of the group. This was formally proposed by Heather Fuller at the meeting and seconded by Jane Tomlinson and Melanie was unanimously accepted as a new Trustee. She joined the meeting at this point.
The minimum number of Trustees required is three and maximum eleven and it was felt that considering the size of our group, we now have sufficient Trustees at the moment.
## **Clients**
We are losing one of our clients from the 1[st] group as she has GCSE work on a Thursday afternoon now. She hopes to come back after her exams but in the meantime is having lessons with the Riding School owner. There was a discussion about taking hard hats back from children who leave our group but it was pointed out that each child has a new hat so it would not be necessary. At present we have three children in group 1 and three in group 2. There was a detailed discussion about the group formations but it was decided to keep them as they are for the present.
The Trustees annual check list will be completed and sent to head office.
Jane Gunn queried whether we made any money from the N Somerset Lottery. Looking at the accounts it would seem that we continue to get an income of between £40 and £50 most months so it felt worthwhile to continue.
