Critical accounting estimates and areas of judggment

factors, including expectations of future events th81 are believed to be reasonable under the
circumstances.
Critical accounting estimates and assumptions..
The charitable Company makes eslimales and assumptions concerning the future. The resulting
accounting eslimales and assumptions will, by definition, seldom equal the related actual results. The
estimates and assumptions that have a significant risk of causing a material adjuslmenl lo the carrying
amounts of assets and liabilities within the next financial year are discussed below.
Stock valuation.. The charitable Company holds a level of stock al the year end. As detailed records of
cost are not maintained, the Trustees have eslimaled the value of stock based on recent purchase prices
or nel realisable value, where lower. This requires judgement in assessing the condition of items, their
likely realisable value, and the costs associated wlh their sale or dislribulion.

the financial slalernents.
