The primary object of the CIO is the conservation of the environment in England for the public benefit by the purchase, maintenance and operation of a nature reserve in Kent for the preservation of biodiversity and the mitigation of climate change.
## Achievements and performance:
Funds were insufficient for the purchase of a nature reserve.
The website was maintained: https://dcc.living-well.uk/
Financial review:
The Charity continued to receive funds from donors during the year.
The total reserve as of 5/4/24 was £50830, insufficient for the purchase of a nature reserve.
This was invested in a savings account run by United Trust Bank, paying a competitive interest rate.
