Annual trustees report 2021

The objects of the CIO are to Advance the Christian faith in the United Kingdom and Internationally for public benefit, helping local communities irrespective of race, nationality or beliefs and also working with other CIO’s whose objects are similar and within charitable law to this CIO, that is Maranatha International. 

**Trustees :** Steven Iguru Green, Elizabeth Mugure Joseph, Ian David Crick and Premnath Samuel Joseph are to continue as trustees of the CIO. 

Premnath Samuel Joseph is contact for all purposes related to the CIO 

The trust auditor is Danielle Makin ACA, 12 The Hedgerows, Whitworth, Rochdale,  OL12 8AW. 

The CIO has as yet been unable to secure a bank account due to delays caused by Covid restrictions and changes in banking regulations.  This we expect to be resolved very soon. 

In line with it’s objects to work with other charities Maranatha International has : 

Helped various communities in India and has established a partnership between Maranatha Full Gospel.  Through this connection, more than 200 families have received basic help and food provision between December 2020 and March 2021 

Medical support including oxygen cylinders and have also been provided. 

During a trip to India visited a care home for marginalized transgender people were visited with a view to offering further counsel and to assess what helps could be offered.   Food was supplied for 200 homeless beggars in the city of Chennai 



Premnath Joseph, on behalf of the CIO, continues to meet with various church groups to speak about the the work and vision of Maranatha International in enriching lives. 

The trustees are continuing to promote the work of the Charity, compliant with the requirements of the charity Commission and in line with current regulation.  Making every good effort and seeking always to act rightly the trust seek constantly to eliminate the risk of failure to achieve the CIOs objects. 

A Financial statement has been prepared in line with the Charities Commission’s , “The Accounting and reporting by Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (Charities SORP).
