Donatlong to Sch l. Donation of school to Brlght star Primary and SOndary, Gambia The Trustees collected 50 pairs of shoes.. 200 clothes- 35 children books and toys,. 20 bags in 2023124 final year. The items where donated to primary and secondary Schools in Gambk?, The items where shipped from the UK and collected by a volunteer in Gambia. He took the ite to the school in Gambia and handed them to the School Principals. The Principals and staff distributed the shoes anng the school children. Therefore, expanding and sustaining its developnEnta¢tivities isa huge challenge. The Trustees use their time 8nd that of the donations of shoes from the public to deliver the purrM)se of the charity. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Constitution and 0ryanisaonal strUrn: The organisation is a charity incorporated OrganwtiOn. It was registered as a charity on 20 November 2020. LSS UK Foundation was established by Memor8ndum and Arti¢les of Association which descrtbes the object5 and p(Iwers of the charitable corry)any,' it is governed under its Articles of Association. Under those Articles. the trustees are appointed at the Annual General Meeling. Trustee have ultinwte resp)nsibilty for the running of the ch8rity. The TNslee rely on the time and resource of volunleers to assist in the dellvering of the purpose of the charty. There are no employees ofthe charity. Day-104ay management of the organisation also rest with the trustees. Recrultment and Appointment of New Trn8tees: The trustees are elected according to their knowledge, skill and experience of the themes and activities undertaken by the charity; commitsnent to LSS UK Foundation mission, objectives aTh 2Ctivities,' and in accordance with the requirements for the govemance of charities. LSS UK Foundation provides infomiation and updates about operations to the members.
