Section C Ob"ectives and activities
The objects of the CIO are the relief of sickness and preservation of
health of children with health disorders in need by the support of
therapeutic and rehabilitation facilities provided at the Poga Rehabilitation
Centre in Lafvia.

During 2023 we continued active discussions with Poga Rehabilitation
Centre in Latvia on the mid- and long-temi marketing strategies where
cooperation brings steadier flows of donations, that in lum allows us
fulfilling our charitable purpose.

We also arranged in-person visits of 3 groups of potential individual
donors from London to the Poga Rehabilitation Centre in Latvia, in Riga.
We continued supplying ideas of additional therapies that could be
introduced in the Poga Rehabilitation Centre in Latvia in Riga, some of
which were explored in more detail. for example exoskeleton.
Finally, Gontinued exchange of ideas on the potential grant uses for
Ihe immediate future. One of the priorities identified being Galileo training
device, that could be lent to patients for the use in their own homes.
Currently the young therapy patients of Poga Rehabilitation Centre in
Latvia have to wait for 1 year to be able to acces5 It, which needs to be
rectified.

Building more recognition on social media with repeat Facebook birthday
fundraiser donors coming fomard and invrting their friends to donate
towards our CIO purpose of assisting the children wilh mobility issues in
Latvia. A sland-oul donor arranged a Facebook & Instagram live stream
on a New Year's Eve when he accomFJished 2,024 pull-ups during 6
hours and raised over £1,420 from several dozen of friends and
collea
ues.

The charity does not have ongoing expenses as it operates thanks lo
Trustees and volunteers. The CIO continued building financial reserves.
At this point we do not have a fomial policy on reserves. however in due
time a more concrete policy will be put together.
